Prayer for UnderstandingEternal God who abounds in steadfast love, like Nicodemus long ago, we sometimes fail to understand the scriptures. We need the refreshing explanation from the Word, your son, Jesus Christ. Lend us your aid this morning. Assist us in hearing the good news that you love each one of us so very much. Help us to drink in that refreshing news so that our lives may be lived with eternity in scope. Amen.
